When it comes to creams, when people talk about 'natural cosmetics' they may be referring to creams made with ingredients of natural origin that come directly from plants. 🌱, animals 🐌 or minerals 🪨. Or they may also be referring to creams made with 'simple' manufacturing processes: just crushing, pressing or distilling ingredients is 'ok'… but it is not 'natural' to use the rest of the laboratory's 'appliances' to 'cook' a cosmetic cream.
On the contrary, 'synthetic' is everything that is born or manufactured in a laboratory.
So far, so good, but be careful, Putin is using the wrong words. Because it seems that if you are natural you are synonymous with sincere, simple, down-to-earth, familiar, normal, habitual… And that people who are not 'natural' are false, artificial, strange, alien… and nobody wants to be the odd one out in class… or do they?
